Impossible, i got it without it, i just had to light it. Lightring it will show you a map but it wont add it into you files too look at later. This is fiends54 here on residnet evil hd remaster on xbox one.
The wooden mount is used to get the map of the second floor of the mansion. (resident evil remake) there's a paper attached on the inside. If you go into the room with the lightable fireplace (near the east save room), use your lighter to make a bunch of red lines appear on the wall above the fireplace.
Then place the wooden mount in the same place to create the map. Nothing is written on it. Use the lighter on the fire in the resting room, then place this in the frame above the fireplace.
